Maneesha V. Ramesh, Principal Investigator Maneesha V. Ramesh graduated in Mechanical Production Engineering, in the year 1999, from Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. During her courses she noticed her interest towards computer science subjects growing. After graduation, she completed a Masters of Business Administration from Amrita University, Coimbatore, India. She has a dual specialization in Systems Management and Finance Management. In the year 2003, she joined Amrita as a faculty in the department of computer science. She has 4 years of teaching experience. Currently she is acting as AMRITA's project coordinator for WINSOC project. She is also a PhD scholar registered under AMRITA University. Her area of interest is in wireless sensor networks, multi-agent systems, team management, etc. She had presented a paper on "Medical Image Encryption Using Wavelets" at the NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON MATHEMATICAL METHODS AND APPLICATIONS on December 22, 2005 at IIT Chennai. |

Joshua Freeman Joshua Freeman graduated from the University of Oklahoma, in the United States with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, with an options leading towards a PhD in Mathematics. He discovered engineering while in college and decided to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, also at the University of Oklahoma. While at the University, he worked with an array or Electric and Solar powered vehicles which competed and won in various national competitions. Upon graduation, he went to work for General Motors, where he was involved in their Diesel Electric Hybrid Bus program for many years. He spent time in the Field Engineering Department with the hybrids and also for the Allison Transmission Division heavy duty automatic transmissions. Primary skills specialized in were control system diagnostics and repair, instrumentation, data collection and measurement, data analysis, and test engineering. Other skills applicable to WINSOC include experience with photovoltaic solar cells, batteries, and Controller Area Network (CAN) systems. Joshua has teaching experience at Amrita University, India, in subjects such as Automotive Engineering and Renewable Energy. He headed the Robotics Lab at the University and guided various university and student level projects. He is currently on deputation as a Research Associate for the WINSOC project. |

Rehna Raj Rehna Raj received her Bachelor of Science in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. She then obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation degree from Cochin University, Kerala, India. Finally, she earned her Master of Engineering degree in VLSI Design from Anna University, Chennai. She is currently a PhD candidate at Amrita University. Rehna worked in a DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) project aimed at "Active noise cancellation in acoustic waveguides" at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), in Kochin, as a part of her engineering degree. She worked as a graduate trainee at a Government of India enterprise named FACT (Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited) and also worked in a Phosphate plant, an Ammonium Plant and a FACT Engineering and Design organisation. She was exposed to Plant Instrumentation (Boiler), Microprocessor Based Fail Safe Control Systems, and Distributed Control Systems, and was involved in the preparation of Technical Procurement Specifications, Erection Tender Specifications and Instrument Data sheets. Rehna also presented a paper on "Fast Arithmetic Computations in Galois Field" at the National Conference on Cryptography, INDOCRYPT (2004), at Amrita University, Kerala, India. She has two years of teaching experience in the Electronics and Communication Department, Amrita University. Her subjects of interest are Control and Instrumentation, Biomedical Instrumentation, Digital Electronics, VLSI Design and Cryptography. Rehna is currently deputed as a Research Associate in WINSOC. |

Sangeeth Kumar Sangeeth graduated from Bharathiar University with a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology. He has experience in developing System level software and drivers for optical fiber applications such as CCD Sensor Fiber Optic spectrometers and Thin Film thickness measurement instruments. He has also worked as an Associate Infrastructure Management Specialist implementing various Tivoli ERP products such as Tivoli Enterprise Console, Tivoli Monitoring, Tivoli Configuration Management Database and Tivoli Netview. He has expertise in developing secured distributed applications and administration modules for Internet Banking, including Trade Finance and Fund Transfer, Mobile Banking and Telebanking. Sangeeth also worked for various companies such as TCS, Doli Systems and Comtek Systems. |

Vijayaselvan Vijayaselvan graduated from the University of Bangalore with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. After completing the degree, he started working as an Electrical Engineer in a private factory at Coimbatore for one year. He then joined the Amrita School of Engineering, as a lecturer, in the year 2004. He has taught various courses such as Electrical Workshops, Electrical Sciences, Electronic Devices, Circuits & Lab, Biomedical Engineering and Microwave Engineering. He is currently working for the WINSOC project. |

Kailash Kailash graduated from Bharathiar University with a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. After graduating, he started working in IT industries, Satyam Computer Services ltd, Ford Motor Company (IT Division) Detroit and Deloitte Chicago. With 10 years of industrial experience, his expertises in various technologies like IBM Mainframe, Sun, Microsoft, ERP (SAP) technologies. Over these period he acquired various domain knowledge in Manufacturing, Finance and Health Care. As a FI CO consultant involved in design of Ford's critical finance system NASA (North America Sales and Accounting). He joined Amrita Technologies and worked in Onsite Offshore Development Center (ODC) projects which involve marketing and executing US based projects. Also guided Research based projects for the final year engineering students. He is currently working for the WINSOC project. |
