Classrooms
Amrita's five campuses, put together, have nearly 350 classrooms. The exact break-up is as shown below.
The ratio of the area of classrooms and lecture halls to number of students is 2 sq.m per student.

Laboratories
The 3 Schools of Engineering have nearly 100 fully-equipped, hi-tech labs. The 4 Schools of the Health Sciences campus in Kochi, together with the Amrita Center for Nanosciences, similarly have a large number of laboratories.

Libraries
Extensive libraries exist on all Amrita campuses.

All libraries are computerised using OPAC. Library or manual automation software such as LIBSYS is used.
Hostels
All five campuses have separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 6 boys' and 4 girls' hostels at the Amritapuri campus. The Coimbatore campus has 6 boys' and 2 girls' hostels.
A similar number of hostels exist at the other campuses as well. The number of residential students as of 2009, is as depicted in the table below.
