CCIR, one of the important centres of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, provides the students of the university with the best career opportunities by closely interacting with many of the corporate giants in India. As a result of the sincere efforts of CCIR, on an average about 80 odd potential recruiters from all over India have been consistently visiting our campuses for the last few years for inducting the young talents of this university to their corporate world. CCIR has been instrumental in facilitating these recruiters in conducting Pre-Placement Talks, Aptitude & Technical tests, Group Discussion and Interviews.

Placement Assistance and Business Relations

Training in soft skills is part of all the courses in various disciplines. The School Placement Services are also coordinated centrally through the Centre for Corporate International Relations (CCIR) at the university headquarters at Ettimadai.
Our graduates have secured placements in renowned IT organizations like Infosys, Wipro, GE, L & T Infotech, OPI Global, CTS, Accenture, UST Global, IFlex, Genpack, iGate Global Solutions, Cybernet Slash Support, etc. Visual Media students have secured placements in The New Indian Express, The Hindu, Amrita TV, Jeevan TV, India Vision, O&M, FCB Ulka, Web India, OEN and many Animation, Advertising, Media organisations. Many Visual Media students have joined reputed film makers as Associates. In-campus training for Corporate Recruitment, Life Skills and Communication also compulsary part of curriculam. Training for CA Entrance (CPT) and TALLY Certification are also provided.
Skill Development
A broad based extensive training programme has been formulated by CCIR to enable the students to acquire various skills that not only suit the corporate requirements but also result in the overall personality development of students. Students are geared up in the field of Aptitude training which includes speed maths, logical reasoning, verbal reasoning & analytical skills to the level of GRE. Apart from this, students are exposed to soft skills development programmes like interpersonal skills, team spirit, group discussions, personal interview techniques, communication skills etc. The above training programmes are imparted through in-house faculty during the regular academic sessions.
