ADMISSIONS - 2007

Entering Class Size
The number of seats available for the fully residential 2-year MBA Programme starting on 11th June 2007 is 120.

Eligibility
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Programme is a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary/Higher Secondary/Pre-degree examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board/ University.

Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree Examination may also apply subject to completing writing their examinations, or viva-voce, if any, before joining the Programme. They must have completed all these before 30 June, 2007. Such candidates will however have to fulfill the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission, and furnish evidence (Provisional/ Degree Certificate) to that effect latest by 31 December, 2007. At the time of interview and/or admission, they are however advised to produce a letter from their respective College Principal/Head of Institution stating in the letter the date of appearing for their examinations, viva-voce, etc., for which results are still awaited. Eligible candidates with appropriate industry experience have an added advantage.

Admission Test
All candidates seeking admission to the MBA Programme should appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in November 2006. The CAT bulletin and application form are available from IIMs or select branches of State Bank of India. NRIs and foreign nationals are required to take the GMAT test.

ASB Prospectus & application form can be obtained from the Admissions Coordinator, Amrita School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Ettimadai, Coimbatore-641105 by sending a crossed DD of Rs. 900/- drawn in favour of ‘Amrita School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’ payable at Coimbatore. The Application form can also be downloaded by logging on to www.amrita.edu/asb/online.

Ltd. offices across the country. The last date for receiving the completed application form is 9th December 2006.
