Former President of OR Society of India and was Indian representative in the International Federation of OR Societies. More than 39 years of experience in research, teaching and consultancy at IIT-Bombay. Has guided a number of M. Tech (Industrial Management) and Ph.D students. Ph.D thesis examiner for IISc.-Bangalore, IIT-Kharagpur, Delhi University, etc. Has publications in national and international journals to his credit. Did Faculty Development Programme in Management from IIM-A as L&T Scholar.
