ASB is proud to have one of the best management libraries in India. ASB Library has a collection of over 10,000 titles, more than 6800 journals in full-text with 1980 back volumes, around 100 computer databases with data on more than 700 CD-ROM's, 70 videocassettes, and around 500 corporate annual reports. Adoption of modern IT tools has enabled the ASB Library to leapfrog into the big league in a short span of time. Among the resources in the ASB library are:
Business Source Premier from EBSCO - A collection of more than 7500 international journal abstracts, with full texts of 6800 journals, and back volumes dating back to year 1922. The collection is updated daily online.
PROQUEST from UMI, USA - A collection of 1000 international journal abstracts and indices with full texts of 500 journals starting from 1992.
India Business Insight Databases (IBID) on INTERNET - Over 191 leading Indian and foreign publications scanned for news and analysis. Articles covered from 1993 to current with over 500000 records, which are updated online.
EXIM-India on CD - A comprehensive CD-ROM database on Govt. of India's foreign trade policies & procedures, tariffs & duties, notifications & clarifications on exports & imports and customs & excise. The database offers the Exchange Control Manual of RBI.
CAPITALINE
The database provides financial statements, ratio analysis, fund flows, product profiles, returns and risks on the stock markets, etc. Financial information on more than 9800 Indian listed and unlisted companies categorized into 109 industries and grouped under 400 business houses. Cybercline (Internet access) consists of Company, Industry/House composite modules, Scoreboard, Capitaclips and Query modules – facilitating analysis, interpretation and Querying. Updated daily
CTR - Complete Library of Tax Decisions - The most sophisticated media to provide decisions published in as many as five leading journals of India containing full reports of ITR, CTR, TTI, TAXMAN, and ITD from 1983 onwards with catch notes, head notes, conclusions and analysis of cases & parallel citations. Further, the database has a speech engine whereby the animation inside will read the required matter, as well as execute oral commands.
