INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATIONS

Dr.Biresh Sahoo's research paper titled "Productive Performance Evaluation of the Banking Sector in India Using Data Envelopment Analysis" (co-authors: Jati Sengupta and Anandadeep Mandal) was recently listed on SSRN's Top Ten download list for "EFA 2007 Ljubljana Meetings", "EFA 2007 Ljubljana Meetings" and "European Finance Association Meetings (EFA)". This paper is forthcoming in International Journal of Operations Research. Another paper titled “Evaluating Cost Efficiency and Returns to Scale in the Life Insurance Corporation of India Using Data Envelopment Analysis” published in Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, 39(4), 2005, 261-285 (with Kaoru Tone) as been ranked 8th among the top 25 articles within the journal. This was ranksed first in Jan-March 2006.
