The School of Communication is fully equipped with Sony High End Digital Cameras, Audio & Vision Mixing, Graphics & Sound Editing software and equipment. Besides, its high speed computer lab is fully enabled for Web Design, Animation and video editing. Its classrooms are spacious with adequate sound and projection facilities.

Amrita Digital Library is appropriately known as VIDYA. It began as a modest Digital Information Repository, But the mounting demand for quality learning found an effective answer once VIDYA collected and organized learning materials from some of the most reputed universities/ research centres around the world. Today, students incorporate this archived material into their learning schedules and this is contributing immensely to in-depth understanding of subjects taught and knowledge expansion. VIDYA, is a multimedia-rich 1.5 Tera Byte of organized information comprising audio and articles, video lectures, journals, news shows and documentaries running into thousands of hours of programmes from around the world. All these are available exclusively to Amrita’s students on the campus network through Streaming and On-demand mode, opening new gateways to the greatest masters across the globe.

Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. Students are provided with adequate facilities to make them feel at home. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a different life-style and involve in activities including yoga, meditation, sports, music, etc., suiting individual tastes and preferences.

A dispensary with two, 24-hour on call, qualified doctors and a few beds is available. Besides attending to the medical needs of the students, staff and others in the campus, the doctor also carries out routine medical checkup of the students every year. The campus doctors are assisted in this task by specialist doctors from the city. The dispensary also provides free medical care to the poor and needy of the Ettimadai village.

Coimbatore Campus has facilities for outdoor and indoor games like Shuttle badminton, Ball badminton, Cricket, Football, Table tennis, Weight lifting, Basketball, Volleyball, and Tennikoit. One state-of-the art synthetic tennis court and a cement tennis court are also available. A multi-gym consisting of eight stations and bodybuilding equipments is also provided for practice. A swimming pool of international standards of the size 50 x 25 meters is also available. Each hostel has a separate sports room. Students are given opportunities to participate in various tournaments. An annual sports and athletic meet is also held.

College buses pick up and drop day- scholars from specified locations in Coimbatore city and enroute, on payment of a nominal fee. An extension counter of The Dhanalakshmi Bank is functioning in a separate building on all working days. Students can make use of the personal banking facilities at the extension counter. The bank also provides a 24hour ATM facility. The General store caters to the stationery and other requirements like domestic goods, toiletry, provisions, etc. The store also stocks our math publications, audio/ video cassettes, herbal/ayurvedic products, etc. produced by the Math. The amenities complex houses a tailoring shop and a men’s hair cutting saloon.
