Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Coimbatore, has the distinction of
being the pioneer among the institutions of higher learning, to be established by Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Located on a sprawling 400-acre campus at the foot-hills of the western ghats, this school, which was started in 1994, grew in stature in a very short time and became the preferred destination of students from across the country, aspiring for a career in engineering.

Eminently qualified members of the faculty and the state-of-the-art facilities together enhance the quality of education imparted at this institution. ASE is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) constituted by AICTE, Government of India with the highest grade and for the maximum duration
