Post graduate degree in Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Very Large Scale Integrated Circuit Design (VLSI Design) :Admission

The courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) of New Delhi.

» The students has to earn minimum of 180 credits to complete the course, that contains core subjects specialized in the communication and Instrumentation Engineering for the respective branches and associated with science electives, humanities and management subjects.

» The project work, which will give opportunity for the students to invoke their subject knowledge in to a specific focused research area and to transform the knowledge into experience and gain expertise in executing challenging projects.

» Most of the core subjects are associated with laboratory based practical experiments, where the students will gain more practical experience from theory. All the laboratories such as, Communication, Signal processing, Microwave and RF, Microprocessor, Digital design and Basic electronics are well equipped with modern equipments and software based simulation tools.

» Many novel methodologies in teaching and experiments are being introduced from time to time to make the students feel comfortable and enthusiastic in learning.

» “Explore” program has been introduced, which will enable the students to use libraries, internet, literature survey etc, in order to acquire more advanced knowledge in the respective subject and improve the self study habits.

» The Department has a well organized academic planning for every semester in implementing various teaching methodologies, well knit timetable and slot system, faculty improvement programmes and teacher-student feedback systems.

The department also offers Ph.D Programmes.
