Library
The library has a specialized collection, reflecting the main teaching and research interests of the Electronics & Communication Engineering Department. It has approximately 500 books and over 200 B.Tech & M.Tech project reports. Various journals in the discipline are also available here.

The Central Library holds additional titles in these subjects.
The state-of-the-art VLSI laboratory comprises high-end
machines running major VLSI software on Linux and windows
platform.
Major hardware facilities include two HP Proliant ML 350
G3 servers, about 80 PCs, FPGA (Spartex & Virtex) Boards,
CPLD board and Ahera cP3 boards
Major software include standard EDA tools from Ventura
graphics, Cadence Magna design automation tools, ISE
webpack and tools of academic interest like Magic, Alliance
CAD tool, Ocean, Iverilog etc .
Digital Signal Processing Lab
Signal processing tools like Matlab 7 with tool boxes in
diversified areas of engineering. 12.
DSP processor includes TMS 5X, 6X series used for real-time
DSP application projects.
Embedded Systems Laboratory
The students get exposure in the areas of Microprocessor,
Microelectronics and system design. Equipped with about
40 PCs running PIC simulation tools, ICD2 debugger,
programmer board based on 8085, 8086, 280 and 8051.
RF design and Simulation Lab
Various types of antenna systems at UHF and VHF range,
Klystron sources at 10GHZ associated with various microwave
devices are used to conduct experiments related to
microwave communication. Simulation system like IE3D , Super
NFC are available for simulation of RF devices and ekts.
The other labs in the department include Microwave and
Fibre Optic Laboratory, Communication Engineering
Laboratory, Basic Electronics Laboratory, Digital Electronics
Lab and Electronics Workshop.
The department has plans to build centers of excellence in
Medical Electronics, Optoelectronic and laser technology &
Microelectronics.
