AURA
The name of the department association is “Consortium of Instrumentation and Communication Engineers” (CISCOE). AURA is a brand of ECE association, conducted every year in the month of February. Also the association organizes guest lectures from experts both academic and non-academic, quiz and other related activities.

Course Conducted
A Summer school in VLSI CAD was organized during April–May 2005 for the fourth semester students of B. tech (CSE and IT). The course covered Verilog, Magic, IUS in Cadence, Synthesis in Magma, Modelsim and
Leonardo Spectrum.
Faculty development programme on PIC Microcontroller was conducted during the last week of December 2006.
ISTE sponsored workshop on Digital Signal Processing and applications was conducted during the last week of November 2004.
IETE sponsored student project contest and seminar on Security in wireless networks was conducted in March 2006.
