1. Guest lecture by Mr.Siby Jose, Group Manager, Technical, Apollo Tyres, Perambra on “ Tyre as a vehicle Component“ on 18/3/2006
2. In collaboration with CEN,Amrita University, organised a two day Workshop on Chemoiformatics from 3/3/2006-4/3/2006. Dr.Karthikeyan, Ncl, Pune, Dr.Velmurugan, Madras University,and Dr.K.P.Soman delivered lectures during the workshop.
3. In collaboration with Indian Plastics Institute, conducted a one day workshop on Design of Experiments-A Practical approach for cost-effective process modelling and optimisation“ on 10/3/2006.
4. Following IPI Technical Lecture series on Plastics were delivered as part of Continuing Education Programme.

5. In collaboration with CEN and Department of Sciences, organised Two day workshop on “An Introduction to Computational Chemistry and Molecular Modeling” on 28- 29 July, 2006 2006.
6. Organised a seminar on “Natural Fibre Composites” on 9th August 2006.
7. Organised National Conference on Polymers in Medical Applications on 20- 21st November 2006.
8. Conducted an extensive one week course on Plastics. Talks were delivered by Dr.R.Rangaprasad ,General Manager, Technical, Reliance Industries Limited from 2/1/2007 to6/1/2007
9. Organized IPI-Guest lecture on Plastic Industry at GTTI Coimbatore for Industrialists on 6/1/2007 by Dr. R.Rangaprasad ,General Manager Technical, Reliance Industries Limited.
