Technical lecture Series

Departrment of Mechanical Engineering conducted an AICTE - ISTE STTP on “Cleaner Technologies for Sustainable Development” during 28 March – 08 April 2005.

Mr S. Babu Devasenapati, Mr K. Malarmohan, Mr S. Karthick, Mr S. L. Sajeesh, Mr N. Saravanan, Mr Ilangovan, Mr V. Sugumaran, Mr V. Jaganathan, Mr P. Anbuudyashankar, Mr R. Padmanabhan attended the AICTE - ISTE STTP on “Cleaner Technologies for Sustainable Development” during 28 March – 08 April 2005.

Mr. V. Sugumaran, Senior Lecturer, has participated in the AICTE-ISTE sponsored STTP on " An Intoductory course in Digital Signal Processing and its Applications" organised by department of Electronics and communication Engineering, Amrita vishwa vidyapeetham, coimbatore, from 22-11-2004 to 03-12-2004.

Mr. V. Sugumaran, Senior Lecturer, has participated in the QIP - STTP on " Fourier Transform, Wavelet Transform and Application" organised by department of Mathematics,Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-Madras), Chennai, from 13-12-2004 to 24-12-2005.

Mr. M. Saimurugan has delivered a invited lecture on “Absenteeism” during Training program for employees of southern railways of Signalling & Telecommunication Workshop on may 3, 2003.

Mr. M. Saimurugan has delivered a invited lecture on “waste management” for employees of ACC Cement, mdukarai on July 12, 2003.

Mr. V. Sugumaran, delevered a Guest Lecture as part of the Faculty development programme conducted by Sri Krishna College Engineering and Technology for Faculty members of Engineering colleges affiliated to ANNA UNIVERSITY on "Hydraulics and Pneumatic controls" on 29/11/03.

Mr. Babu Devasenapati delevered a Guest Lecture as part of theFaculty development programme conducted by Sri Krishna College Engineering and Technology for Faculty members of Engineering colleges affiliated to ANNA UNIVERSITY on "Hydraulics and Pneumatic controls" on 25/11/03.

Mr Sethuraman V & Sivasankar@saravanan. G won FIRST prize (Mechanical session)for the paper titled " Tool selection based on hardness of the work piece" in MECHTRON'04 conducted by department of Mechanical Engineering, Madurai thiagarajar college of Engineering on 11th March 2004.

Mr Pradeep Raj R & Chidambaram PL won FIRST prize (Mechatronics session) for the paper titled "Exhaust gas recycling" in MECHTRON'04 conducted by department of Mechanical Engineering, Madurai thiagarajar college of Engineering on 11th March 2004.

Mr M. Vinoth(MECH), Mr H. Jayaram(MECH) & Mr Nagarajan (EEE) presented a paper on "Design and implementation of low cost multipurpose robot" in a National conference on Development and challenges in manufacturing Engineering-2004 conducted by MIT, MAHE, Manipal.

Mr Deepak Kumar, Mr R. Rajenth, Mr G. Balasubramanian & Mr G. Kathirvel presented a paper on "Tool wear monitoring using low cost current sensor" in a National conference on Development and challenges in manufacturing Engineering-2004 conducted by MIT, MAHE, Manipal.

Mr M. Deepak Kumar won FIRST Prize in desing contest in TECHNOTRYST ’04 conducted by Goverment college of Technology on 19th -20th of march 2004.

Mr D. Vishwanath & Mr Ravi sakthi won Second Prize in paper presentation in TECHNOTRYST ’04 conducted by Goverment college of Technology on 19th -20th of march 2004 on "Study on natural fiber reinforcement polyyester composite".

Mr M. Vinoth & Mr H. Jayaram won FIRST prize in “INDCON ’04”, a paper presentation contest conducted by department of Industrial Engineering , Anna university for the paper “Optimization of high speed milling by developing a model using Artificial Neural Networks” on 21.02.04.

Presentation contest conducted by L&T & PSG college of Technology for the paper “Modelling of High Speed Machining by ANN, Monte-Carlo Simulation &Multiple regression” on 28.02.04.
Mr M. Deepak Kumar & Mr M Sivasubramaniam won FIRST Prize in ERUDITE ’04 on 25.02.04 conducted by Tamil nadu college of Engineering for Technical Quiz.

Mr. Manikandan of third year Mechanical Engineering won first prize in "Tech Quest-04" a paper presentation contest conducted by Erode Sengunthar college of Engineering, Perundurai on 12, January 2004.

Mr S. Bharath Kumar & Mr S. Sujay Kumar of final year Mechanical Engineering won first prize in quiz contest on Automobiles as part of "AUTO EXPLODE-2004" a paper presentation contest conducted by PSG college of Technology, Coimbatore on 23-24, January 2004.

Mr S. Aravindan & Mr M. P. Janardhanan of final year Mechanical Engineering won Second prize in quiz contest on Automobiles as part of "AUTO EXPLODE-2004" a paper presentation contest conducted by PSG college of Technology, Coimbatore on 23-24, January 2004.
