Department conducted a series of Expert Lectures and Quiz competitions for students to Celebrate the World Year of Physics 2005

Nobel Prize week to discuss the research work of Nobel laureates of 2005 was organized in February 2006. A souvenir including all the papers presented were also released in this connection
