Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham aims at holistic and all-round development of its students. Students are exposed to a variety of co-curricular, extra-curricular, social and community development activities in the campus. Student chapters of Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), Computer Society of India (CSI), Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers as well as departmental associations are actively involved in conducting technical symposiums, seminars and other events like quiz, design contests, multimedia, paper presentations, network gaming and poster design competitions. Amrita Prakrithi Samrakshana Samity (Nature and Environmental Awareness Club), National Service Scheme (NSS), Ham Radio Club (HRC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) are some of the avenues available for students to engage in community development activities. Ragasudha – Music Club, Natyasudha – Dance Club, Amritadhwani – College magazine, Srishti – Literary Club and Arya – Culture Club are some of the clubs involved in extracurricular activities. An annual literary and cultural festival, Amritotsavam, is held wherein prizes for students showing academic, literary and cultural proficiency are awarded. Astronomy Club – an astronomical telescope facility supplied by ISRO is available in the campus. The students have excellent opportunity to watch planets, stars and other celestial objects.

TITAN IQ TITAN stands for "The Information Technologists AssociatioN. It organises an annual event named as TITAN IQ, which caters to the intellectual thirsts of the budding Information Technologists' of Amrita. It conduct unique contests and games to educate and entertain the students.

ASCII - Cerebral Wars

AURA The name of the department association is “Consortium of Instrumentation and Communication Engineers” we call it as (CISCOE). CISCOE organizes AURA every year starting from 2006. This will be conducted during February in a grand scale with a variety of contests and programs which encourages the true spirit of engineering.

ELECTRA The Electronics and Electrical Engineers of Amrita School of Engineering thrills the students and the faculty community with their innovative technical fest and programmes every year in the name of ELECTRA !!

ACME The Department of Mechanical Engineers of Amrita, prove themselves with a mega event which enthralls, educates and instills a spirit of engineering and innovation. A large variety of events and competitions are in-store for the eager minds.
