Eligibility for Admission: Graduates – B.A., B.Sc., B.B.M., B.Com. from any recognized University. (If Students from foreign university seek admission, we shall have to consult, discuss with the honourable members of the apex body of our university and get their concurrence.) They should have studied 10 +2 +3 pattern.

They should have obtained 50% of marks in aggregate in all the subjects at the degree level and/or secured 50% in post graduation from a recognized university. He/she who has studied the degree course for 3 years is eligible for admission to B. Ed.

Course, provided - • he/she has studied at least any one of the following languages: English, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, etc. • any two of the following subjects: English, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit, History, Journalism, Women’s studies, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Philosophy, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Electronics etc. •

Candidates who have taken Degrees from universities outside Karnataka shall have studied in addition to Language subjects at least two of the above subjects in their three years degree course. • In the case of SC-ST, category 1 and physically handicapped students, the minimum marks % shall be 45% in the aggregate.
