Department of Physical Education
The department coordinates the sports activities of all schools in Amritapuri Campus i.e., School of Arts & Science, School of Ayurveda, School of Biotechnology and School of Engineering.
The Department of Physical Education was formed in the year 2003 with one Physical Education Instructor. In August 2007, Mr. Krishnakumar S., the current HoD took charge of the Department.
The Department regularly organizes various intramural competitions and annual athletic meets. Various Inter Campus Tournaments including Table Tennis, Badminton (Shuttle), Volleyball, Football, etc. are also organized.

Achievements in All Kerala Inter Collegiate Tournaments
School of Ayurveda Won the Overall Championship in All Kerala Inter Ayurveda College Badminton (Shuttle) Tournament conducted by Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur, Thrissur consecutively in the years 2007-08 & 2008-09.
School of Ayurveda won the Women (Singles &Doubles) title in the All Kerala Inter Ayurveda College Table Tennis Tournament conducted by Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvanathapuram in the year 2008-09.
