Research Seminar on Computer Vision for Robotics (CVR-2012)
We are pleased to inform you that the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru is organizing a National level Research Seminar on “Computer Vision for Robotics” (CVR 2012) on 24th & 25th February 2012 in co-ordination with National Instruments (NI).
The research seminar aims to give the latest challenges and developments in computer vision for robotics applications. The focus of the series is on sensing and perception modalities, as well as their impact on autonomous robotics and intelligent systems development and applications.
In the forenoon sessions of the seminar, we will see how computer vision and machine learning techniques can be combined in order provide robust and efficient feature detection style tracking. In the afternoon hands-on sessions of the seminar, the National Instrument focus on how to use NI Labview and NI Vision tools to solve diverse set of application challenges.
We solicit participation of faculty members from Academic Institutions, Scientists and Engineers from R & D Organizations and Industry. Research Scholars and PG students are also invited to attend the seminar.
