Cyber Security is a fast
moving field-this is because as time progresses
many earlier techniques and algorithms are
continuously broken into and weakened because
of both hackers and availability of faster
computers. In a world of open and extensive
communication, data security is of paramount
importance. Hacking, data corruption will
continue to be threats for ever. They also
make the need for security more important.
There is an ever present need for research
workers and stake holders of security to congregate,
present their work, discuss issues and be
ready for the years ahead in a more effective
and professional way.
Cryptology
continues to be an active area of research
due to the vital role it plays in cyber security.
This workshop provides the foundation and
environment for professionals to scale new
heights in the field of cryptology. It also
provides a platform for interaction amongst
the scientists, teaching faculty and students
in various academic research institutions
and encourages young researchers by giving
them an opportunity to present their work
to the cryptographic community for evaluation.
In this workshop, there will be six invited
lectures by well known cryptographers. |
