Trains to various places are accessible from the Coimbatore Junction . Coimbatore is a major railway junction on the Southern Railways and has trains to Chennai, Rameswaram, Madurai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kanyakumari, Kozhikode, Mettupalayam, Kochi and Delhi. 

Road : 
Coimbatore is connected by road with all major places in South India. State Transport Corporation's Interstate Express buses are available from the Central Bus Stands situated at Gandhipuram. For local transportation, city buses, call taxis and auto rickshaws are available.

Call taxies are available all over Coimbatore. The approximate fair from the Airport to Ettimadai campus is around Rs. 250/- , From the Railway Station/ Gandhipuram the fair amounts to around Rs.200/-

Buses to Ettimadai: No 96 from Gandhipuram, Railway Station; It is advisible to come to Gandhipuram bus terminus from the Airport
