Mr. R.Vinaitheerthan, Lecturer Biostatistics

Mr.R.Vinaitheerthan has completed His Masters Degree in Applied Statistics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and further done Masters in Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli.

He has around 10 years experience in the field of Statistics, out of which 6 years were in the field of Statistical Quality Control. After initially working as Supervisor in Textile mills at Hosur and Trichirappalli, he moved into the field of Medical Research and worked with Vector Control Research Center, Pondicherry and Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Center, Madurai as Biostatistician. He has provided statistical support to multiple clinical studies including those funded by WHO and international pharma.

He has 4 years of teaching experience in Statistics and worked as a Lecture in GS College Melasivapuri and also in Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Center.

Mr. Vinaitheerthan has sound knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS and SAS and extensive exposure in the fields of programming, database management and Internet technologies. He is the lead programmer on two research projects that IMIME is collaborating on with Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School, Boston.
