C. J. Srinivasan works in Computational Linguistics at CEN. He holds an M.Sc Intelligent Systems degree from University of Sussex at UK. He did his B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Amrita Institute of Technology and Science (now Amrita School of Engineering) under Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He worked as a Applications Developer at iNautix Technologies P. Ltd, Chennai during 2002-2004. He was awarded the Commonwealth Scholarship to UK by the Foreign Commonwealth Office, Govt. of UK for his Masters programme.

His research interests include Machine Translation, Machine Learning, Natural Language Interfaces, Statistical Natural Language Processing. His work focusses on applying these domains to Indian languages. His is currently working on Plagiarism Detection and Machine Translation projects at the center.
