Executive Summary

This project was initiated to upgrade existing equiments in the Institute so that they become useful in research activities. Under the MODROB scheme, a computerized Ultimate Tensile Testing Machine, Computerized Imaging System as an attachment to Carl-Zeiss Metallurgical Microscope for use in microstructural studies, and a Hydro-forming attachment as an accessory to the hydraulic press for conducting hydro-forming experiments. Procecurement of these equipments are underway.
