The workshop aims at enabling the participants on the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in Android. With millions of apps, games, songs and videos on Google Play, Android is so powerful, yet still so easy.The workshop is designed to showcase various applications and demos for hands-on sessions to developers. The workshop will provide the participants an insight into the different dimensions of Android OS with experts from the industry and academia.

Department of Physics at Amrita School of Arts and Sciences will be conducting a Refresher Course in Experimental Physics sponsored by Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi and The National Academy of Sciences India, Allahabad for Physics faculty teaching Undergraduate and Graduate courses.
The course intends to familiarize almost twenty five experiments at the B. Sc./ M.Sc. level in Mechanics, Heat, Electricity, AC Circuits, Dielectrics, Magnetism, Relaxation, Phase Sensitive Detection Techniques using Lock-In Amplifier, Non-linear Dynamics, and Phase Transitions leveraging a low cost kit developed by the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore.
Applications are invited from teachers with experience in teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Engineering and Physics. The participation is limited to four southern states and preference will be given to (nearby) colleges in Kerala. The number of seats will be about 30.
