ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM ICPC) is the largest computer programming contest in the world. The ACM ICPC is an activity of the ACM that provides college students with an opportunity to demonstrate and sharpen their problem-solvingand computing skills .

AMRITA Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-campus university with schools of engineering,medicine, business, journalism, arts and sciences. Inspired by Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi,one of the foremost humanitarian leaders today, the university headquarters is located on a beautiful 400-acre hillside of the western ghats, about 20km from the city of Coimbatore. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is hosting the contest for a consecutive second time. The previous year's competition saw more than 80 teams for the online contest and 50 teams for the onsite contest.
