Mr V. Sugumaran defended his Ph.D. Defence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on 11th March 2008, with thesis Advisor Dr K.I. Ramachandran, with thesis entitled "Machine Learning Approach to Fault Diagnosis of Roller Bearings". Committee included Dr. Brauns, Professor, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa (the Chief Editor, Elsevier Publications) and Dr. Sujatha, Professor, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Dr. M.P. Chandrasekharan, who as founding director of NIT Calicut has guided many Ph.D. students, complimented: "The Best Work I Have Come Across". |
