NanoSolar 2012
Nanosolar division at Amrita Center for Nanosciences is one of the emerging centers (Centre for Excellence) in areas of Photovoltaics and energy storage devices. Nanosolar 2012 is the first International Workshop to be held at Amrita Centre for Nanosiences Kochi. We expect this to be a leading forum which will bring the best minds and will be acknowledged as one of the most important event in this area.
Nanosolar 2012 is aimed to bring together scientists, academic researchers, engineers, industrialists and students specializing in Photovoltaics and energy storage devices to explore recent technical advances with state-of-the-art technologies in the thrust zones of all the major topics to be covered in the workshop. It will identify outstanding innovations providing solutions to the existing problems. Hence, this workshop would be providing an opportunity to discover recent technical advances, exchange of ideas/experiences and explore new alternatives while interacting with the technology pioneers.
Nanosolar 2012 workshop would be a one day program to be inaugurated on February 24, 2012. It will offer a plenary talk by Dr. Michael Gratzel (Prof. at EPFL, Switzerland and winner of Millennium Technology Prize 2010, for invention of dye-sensitized solar cells) and invited talks by eminent Indian Scientists. It will provide technical poster sessions and is also offering an opportunity to the leading industries and service providers to present their company profile and advertise their research/technologies to the scientific community with maximum visibility at a nominal fee.
