Admissions open for BDS program for the academic year 2017 at Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi. 

ACADEMICS

The five - year course, offered with a six months optional rotating internship, aims at developing students' clinical skills under close supervision and mentoring of faculty members. The aim and objective of the program is to produce a dentist who is socially acceptable and is able to work safely and effectively on patients in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and oral diseases.

Candidates seeking admission to BDS course under general category and NRI category in Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi are informed that as per Hon’ble Supreme Court Order, the admissions to BDS course 2017-18 are made through Common Counseling by DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi, in respect of all Deemed Universities in which BDS course is conducted.

Students are therefore advised to visit this link (Medical Counseling Committee under DGHS) for further information.

Please note that there is no separate Management Quota in Amrita School of Dentistry, all seats are filled up on merit basis based on the NEET UG 2017 All India Rank.
