All candidates who have been allotted a seat, needs to complete a few more steps to confirm admission to Amrita School of Engineering.
The steps are different for each campus and is available in the links given below. For example, a candidate who has been allotted a seat in the Coimbatore campus shall click on the tab titled "Coimbatore" and follow the steps described in it.

Candidates admitted to Amrita School of Engineering - Amritapuri Campus, are required to go through the following instructions carefully.

  1. Payment of Remaining Tuition Fees, Hostel & Mess Fees / Bus Fees

    Pay your balance fees and update your personal and academic data on the University Website as per following instructions. All candidates should complete the fee payment and data entry before the last date as mentioned in the University notification.

    • Access the AMS server through any computer connected to the internet. Visit AMS Server
    • Enter your BTech Application Form Number (starting with AM/OM).
    • Enter your Date of Birth as mentioned in your application in DD/MM/YYYY format
    • Enter the “Captcha code”
    • Click on “Login”
    • At the dashboard, please read the Instructions given and proceed to Fee payment.

    Payment of Full / Balance Fee:

    • Payment of fees must be done through an online payment gateway from AMS.
    • Payment can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, NEFT/ RTGS or Cash.

    Below are the steps to complete the payment:

    Payments are handled at the online payment portal hosted by SBI Bank. You have the following methods of making the payment:

    • Credit Card/Debit Card: Use any authorised Credit or Debit Card issued by your bank to make the payment. The site supports cards from Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Rupay.
    • Internet Banking: You can use your internet banking account from your bank to make the payment. Select the appropriate bank and proceed to make the payment.
    • NEFT/RTGS: You can generate a Payment Challan in this option. Once the Challan is generated, take a print out of the Challan. Use the Challan at any Bank branch to initiate a NEFT/RTGS transaction. Please ensure that you use the correct Account Number and IFSC while making the payment.
    • Cash: You can generate a Cash Challan in this option. After taking a printout of the Challan, use this at any SBI Bank Branch to make a cash transaction as per guidelines of the Bank.

    Please ensure that you take a printout of the transaction details after you make the payment. If you have completed your payment process successfully and the AMS does not show a successful transaction, please do not attempt to make a transaction again. Please wait for two hours and check the status of your payment on the AMS portal.

    It is highly recommended to keep a print copy of the payment transaction after successful payment.

    • All further enquiries regarding the fee payment shall be based on the Application number, Payment Reference Number and the Bank Transaction Number.
    • Refer to the notification from the University in the website regarding the refund rules.

    Reporting dates for Document Verification – After filling all the data in AMS, the candidate should report to administrative office within 15 days or before July 2nd.

    Document Verification:

    Documents to be brought /uploaded in data base before verification for admission to 2019 batches of B. Tech. Programs:

    Candidates should ensure that the following documents are uploaded in AMS:

    • Provisional Seat Allotment Order issued by the University
    • AEEE / JEE Hall Ticket & Score Card
    • HSC / Plus 2 Marks Statement (+ One Xerox Copy)
    • 10th Class Marks Statement (+ One Xerox Copy)
    • Transfer Certificate & Conduct Certificate from the Institution last attended
    • Community Certificate (In case of SC / ST candidates only) (+ One Xerox Copy)

    If the candidate fails to satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria requirements, the seat allotted will stand cancelled and the fees will be refunded as per the policies.

    Following forms can be downloaded from AMS after successful payment.

    • Certificate of Physical Fitness
    • Joint Declaration by Candidate and Parent against Ragging
    • Joint Declaration by the Parent / Guardian and the candidate
    • A printout of the above should be taken, relevant portions filled in/signed and uploaded back in the portal. Also bring these forms along with you while coming for document verification.
  2. When is the ID Card Issued?

    ID card will be issued within 2 weeks of commencement of classes.

    • Internet Banking: You can use your internet banking account from your bank to make the payment. Select the appropriate bank and proceed to make the payment. Please be aware of the transaction limit on your Card before commencing the payment process. If the amount is beyond the transaction limit, your transaction will be rejected.
    • NEFT/ RTGS: You can generate a Payment Challan in this option. The Challan will have an Account Number and IFSC. You can either take the print out of the Challan or note down the details.     • It is recommended to complete the mandatory items entry first, and “Save”.
    • After saving the mandatory items, you may proceed to upload the document.
    • Upload scanned copy of following original certificates and formal colour passport photograph.
      • For M.Tech programs: Degree Certificate / Consolidated Mark Sheet, GATE/ TANCET/ PGCET/ PGECET Score Card, Community Certificate (if applicable).
      • For B.Tech. and all other programs: X, XII, Transfer Certificate, Date of Birth, Community Certificate (if applicable).
    • Click on "Save" if you have completed all mandatory fields, optional fields and“Upload” of all documents
    • If you have completed all the above including full tuition fee payment, you may visit the university campus at Ettimadai, Coimbatore to complete your document verification process. However, you have to call the university admin office on telephone number +91-422-2685509 and book a slot for document verification before your visit.

    • To withdraw from the admission and to get fee refund, you need to initiate a “Withdrawal Process” through CMS by clicking on the “Withdraw” button in the Dashboard.
    • Please follow the instructions provided on the withdrawal page to complete the process and get the fee refund
    • Your refund will not be processed by the University until the University receives the refund request signed by the candidate and the parent.
    • Please take a print out of the refund request PDF and post it to the address mentioned in the second page of the PDF.
    • Once your refund is received by the Admissions Office, refund shall be processed.
    • The date of request for withdrawal and fee refund will be the date on which the University receives the hard copy request sent by you.
    • Fee refund shall be as per the university ‘Refund rules’

  6. FAQs

    If the candidate fails to satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria requirements, the seat allotted will stand cancelled and the fees will be refunded as per the policies.

    Following forms can be downloaded from CMS after successful payment.

    • Certificate of Physical Fitness
    • Joint Declaration by Student and Parent against Ragging
    • Joint Declaration by the Parent / Guardian and the candidate
    • A print out of the above should be taken, relevant portions filled in/signed and brought along with the other documents. Also bring
    • Two recent colour passport-size photos &
    • Proof of online payment details

    When and how to collect uniforms, details of issuing uniforms after joining. Number of pairs, etc.

    Unstitched cloth for uniform will be provided to the candidate after the certificate verification process. The candidate may have it stitched with the tailoring unit inside the campus or with an outside tailor depending upon convenience. The cloth provided will be enough for two pairs of uniform.

    It is highly recommended to have an own laptop since the curriculum and academics demands to have own laptop.

    Text books: How to procure text books.

    Text books are to be procured by the candidate on their own. University will provide a list of test books which are required for the students. The students may procure the books online or by visiting book store of their preference. A candidate may also utilise the text books available in our offline and digital libraries.

    Any other forms to be filled.

    • Hostel admission form
    • Undertaking forms by the parent and student
    • Bus utilization form for day scholars
    • Anti-ragging form
    • All these forms are available in CMS and you will need to print it, fill the form.
