A new Five year (10 semesters) Integrated M.Sc. Programme in Physics with Minor in Scientific Computing is being offered 2018 onwards.
This intense programme, supported in particular by Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science, has been designed so that in addition to learning the foundations in traditional theoretical and experimental methods of physics, students also gain significant skills in computational techniques.
Interested students will be able to pursue internship opportunities during summer as well as during their final year as part of their Master’s thesis. Currently, many of our students go to reputed national as wells as international institutes for their major project during the final semester, and also for doctoral studies.
This unique and innovative combination significantly enhances employment opportunities for students, enabling them to pursue a career in academics as well in research labs such as Industry and Government Sector undertakings like National Research Labs, Space and Defence Research Organisations.
