Students who are pursuing +2 under CBSE/ State Board.

M.B.B.S/B.D.S: The admissions to MBBS and BDS courses, are made through Common Counseling by DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi, based on the All India Rank obtained in NEET-UG, in respect of all Deemed Universities.

B.A.M.S: A pass in 10+2 (or) Higher Secondary in first attempt with an aggregate minimum of 70% marks in Biology, Chemistry and Physics ( 75% for State Board /Matriculation candidates) with not less than 60% mark in English. All candidates should appear in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned authority and should qualify in the entrance examination.

Pharm D: A Pass in Plus two with not less than 70% in Physics, & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Biology / Maths, or D.Pharm from a PCI approved institution or any other qualification approved by PCI. All candidates should appear and qualify in the entrance examination conducted by Amrita University.

B. Pharm: A pass in 10+2 (or) Higher Secondary in first attempt with an aggregate minimum of 70% marks in Biology, Chemistry and Physics with 60% mark English separately. For, B. Pharm, in place of Biology, Bio Technology / Com. Science / Mathematics are also acceptable. All candidates should appear for the Interview conducted by Amrita University.

B.Sc. Nursing: A Pass in Higher Secondary /Plus two examination with a minimum of 65% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Board or University. All candidates should appear for the Interview conducted by Amrita University.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: Pass in Plus Two with minimum 65% from a recognized Board or University. Pass in General Nursing & Midwifery from an INC recognized School of Nursing be a Registered Nurse of the State Nursing Council Final year GNM students are also eligible to apply. All candidates should appear and qualify in the entrance examination conducted by Amrita University.

B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT): A Pass in Higher Secondary /Plus two examination with a minimum of 70 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

B.Sc. Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT): A Pass in Higher Secondary /Plus two examination with a minimum of 70% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

B.Sc. Cardiac Perfusion Technology / Cardiac Vascular Technology / Dialysis Therapy / Diabetes Sciences / Echocardiograply Technology / Neuro Electro Physiology / Physician Assistant / Respiratory Therapy / Optomerty / Emergency Medical Technology / Anaesthesia Technology: A Pass in Higher Secondary /Plus two examination with a minimum of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Bachelor of Audiololgy and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP): A Pass in Higher Secondary /Plus two examination with a minimum of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology.

Diploma in Dental Mechanics: A Pass in Higher Secondary /Plus two examination with a minimum of 65% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Entrance Examination: Amrita University conducts entrance examination for the B.Sc. Allied courses except for Diploma in Dental Mechanics.

Age for the above courses: Not less than 17 but not more than 23 years as on 31 December of the year of admission. For Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing , the age limit is 30 years.

Pharm D- Post Baccalaureate (PB): Duration : A pass in B.Pharm from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India(PCI) with atleast 70% marks for all the subjects of B.Pharm course from second year to fourth year. Candidates with GATE/GPAT score preferred.

M.Pharm ( Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutics /Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmacy Practice): Pass in B. Pharm degree from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with at least 70% marks for all the subjects of B. Pharm course from second year to fourth year. Preference will be given to GATE / GPAT qualified candidates.

M.Sc. Nursing (Medical Surgical/Paediatric/Psychiatric/Obstetric & Gynecologic Nursing): The candidate should have passed BSc Nursing or BSc Hons. Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing with minimum of 70% aggregate marks from an Institution recognized by INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with any State Nursing Council. Candidates should be medically fit. Minimum 1 Year of work experience after basic BSc Nursing or prior or after Post Basic BSc Nursing.

Master of Hospital Administration: Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 Years of education) in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 70% marks. Candidates with qualification in hospital oriented subjects will have an added  advantage for admissions.

Master of Public Health: MBBS,BDS, MSc Community Nursing, Masters in  clinical Pharmacy, Social science and Physiotherapy,  bachelor degree in AYUSH stream. The minimum percentage for eligibility to the course is 70%. Additional: Experience in health field related to public health is desirable and is an added advantage. International students will also be considered for admission. The international stu-dents should have reasonable score for TOFEL and GRE and also would be governed by Amrita University norms for international admissions. The upper age limit is 40 years.

M.Phil in Clinical Psychology: Duration: Two years - MA/ MSc Degree in Psychology from a recognized university by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, SC/ST/OBC category, candidates should have secured a minimum of 70% of marks in the aggregate. Candidates with qualification in Clinical Psychology related subjects and internship experiences in the area of mental health will have an added advantage for admissions. All candidates should appear in the entrance test conducted by Amrita University.

Clinical Nutrition & Food Science: Duration : A pass in B.Sc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics / B.Sc Nutrition, Food Service Management and Dietetics / B.Sc Food Science and Nutrition / B.Sc Home Science (with majors in Nutrition and Dietetics) / B.Sc Family and Community Science /  PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics / PG Diploma in Clinical Nutrition with first class.
     
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Radiological Sciences : - MSc / MS Physics (with atleast 65% marks), or equivalent.
     

Entrance Examination / Personal Interview : Amrita University conducts entrance examination for M.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing (PB), MPH and M.Phil Clinical Psychology. For all other courses, M.Sc. Allied courses, Pharm D (PB), M.Pharm, MHA, students have to appear for an interview.
