Dr. Pramod Pisharady is a Senior Research Associate and CZI Imaging Scientist at the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR), at University of Minnesota, USA. He did his doctoral research at National University of Singapore (NUS), in the area of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. He did his postdoctoral research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in the area of Brain Image Analysis. His research at CMRR is focused on reconstruction of white matter parameters of the brain, from diffusion MRI data, with applications to neurodegenerative diseases. He was awarded the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) Imaging Scientist grant in 2020, he is currently working on a project proposed for the CZI grant, to improve the brain microstructure estimation from diffusion MRI using microscopy data.
