Charpak Scholarships 2018

Amrita Center for International Programs is glad to share the Charpak Scholarships program. The program is run by the Embassy of France in India and is named after French physicist and Nobel prize winner Georges Charpak.

Amrita Women's Basketball Team Wins Inter Collegiate Basketball Championship

The Amrita Women's Basketball team of Amritapuri Campus, led by Hima K Sugathan, 3rd year Integrated MSc, Department of Physics, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, won the Inter-Collegiate Basketball Championship held at St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Chenganoor, on 1st and 2nd March 2018.

Amrita Darshanam Organizes Workshop on Glimpses of Indian Mathematics

Amrita Darshanam – International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, organized a two-day workshop on “Glimpses of Indian Mathematics, aimed at providing a glimpse of the rich mathematical heritage of India, March 3-4, 2018, at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru campus. The workshop was headed by Prof. K. Ramasubramanian of IIT Bombay.
