Amrita Student Team Qualify for Indy Autonomous Challenge Round Two

Amrita student team "Na-Sarathy" from the Humanitarian Technology (HuT) Labs, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, qualified for round two of the Indy Autonomous Challenge to compete in the world’s first $1.5 million autonomous racecar competition at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. 

Amrita Student's Animated Video Based on the Fight Against Coronavirus

Ananthakrishnan T. U., pursuing an M. A. in Visual Media from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysore campus, created an animation video based on the fight against Coronavirus. The characters of the animation video are the superhero Batman and the super-villain Joker. The animation was made under the banner of his own startup named Carmond Infinity. 

Hacks for Frontline Health Workers on War Against COVID from Amrita Hospital

Medical Professionals from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi campus, has come up with the hacks for making face-shields, improvements on standard surgical masks and acrylic barriers to prevent virus-containing aerosols from entering the atmosphere during intubation.
