Activities conducted on 2019

The Department of Computer Science and IT, Amrita School Of Arts And Sciences, Kochi along with CSI student branch hosted a two day inter-college Tech-Fest “ANUVARTAN 2K19” on 6th and 7th of February 2019 at the Kochi Campus. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Amith Sasi, CEO of PinPark Technologies Pvt Ltd, Kochi. The two day event had various competitions including Fix Me, Guess Me, Let us Code, Let us Design, PuBG, Tecghical Quiz and a tech exhibition showcasing working models as well as still models.Participants were awarded with certificates and cash prizes.

New methodology for showcasing projects of final year computer science students.It was an open exhibition by the Integrated MCA students of 2016 held on April 30,2019 at the college auditorium starting from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM.A total of 64 projects,128 students were evaluated transparently by the CS faculties over a period of 5 hours. the motive behind this venture was to inspire the younger generation and give them a taste of software world.
A vidyamritham session on cloud hosting techniques conducted by Mr.Sathish Menon who is working as consultant in many corporate firms.To name a few,Consultant at Edubrisk, a Cloud-based Learning Platform, Kadavantra,Node Architect at Updopt Solutions. The workshop was held on 3rd august 2109 from 10:00 AM to 12.30 PM in the College Campus.The participants gained knowledge on how to develop and host websites.
A vidyamritham session on blockchain conducted by Mr.Adil Rahman P A,Team Lead at Oama Parking Solution Pvt Ltd,Ernakulam and Mr.Sreejith Kumar S, Co-founder & CTO at Pinpark (Oama Parking Solutions Pvt Ltd), Ernakulam. The workshop was held on 5th March 2019 in the College Campus.

Cyber Security Club of Amrita School Of Arts And Sciences was inaugurated on 24th january 2019 followed by hosting a Cyber Security Club-Bi0s Kochi. Hands-on workshop was held on 1st and 2nd of April 2019 by Mr.Vipin,the Chief Mentor of bi0s along with active team members Mr.Vishnu Dev T J and Mr.Aswin M Gupta.The current team consists of 25 members.Hands-on session are conducted regularly.The club's main purpose is to provide students with technical resources needed to advance their computer security careers.
