Amritapuri Team Won First Prize at 34th Inter-University National & South Zone Youth Festivals

The student team of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, bagged the first prize in Group Music (Indian) at the 34th Inter-University South Zone Youth Festival 2018 “Padmotsav” held from October 7-11, 2018, in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. South Zone comprises of over 100 universities in the region.

Amrita Students Win Prizes at 33rd Inter-University National Youth Festival 2018, Ranchi

The team from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham won a series of prizes in music competitions at the 33rd Inter-university National Youth Festival-2018, Palash, organized by Ranchi University in collaboration with Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, February 16-20, 2018.

Amrita Students Win Prizes at 31st Inter-University National Youth Festival 2016, Mysore

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham won first prize in the Mime and Debate competition at the 31st Inter University National Youth Festival, “Yuva Shatha Sambhrama – 2016”, held at University of Mysore from 15th–19th February, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Government of India. Nearly 70 universities from all over India participated in various events.

Amrita Students Win Prizes at 31st South Zone Inter- University Youth Festival

Students of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham won various prizes at the 31st South Zone Inter- University Youth Festival, Waves 2015 in association with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, New Delhi held from January 18 to 22, 2016 at Mangalore University.

Koodiyattam Performance at Amritapuri Campus

A Koodiyattam Performance by Sri. Sooraj Nambiar and team from Ammannur Gurukulam, Irinjalakkuda was successfully conducted as part of the cultural programs of Hridayamritam 2015: National-level Sloka Recitation (Parayana) Competition at the Acharya Hall, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri Campus on December 27, 2015. 

Gotipua Dance Performance at Amritapuri Campus

Gotipua Dance Performance by Konark Natya Mandap, Orissa was successfully conducted at Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri campus on 30th November, 2015. This event was co-organized by Samskriti, the cultural wing of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus and SPIC MACAY, the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth.
