'Dravya Prabodhini' Third in the Series Monthly Educational Program Held

Dravya Prabodhini, a series of monthly educational programs organized by the Department of Dravyaguna, Amrita School of Ayurveda, covers a wide range of interesting activities like guest lectures, field trips to gather deep knowledge about the subject and knowledge sharing sessions with eminent scholars from allied sciences.

Dr. Prema Nedungadi, Director, AmritaCREATE (Amrita Center for Research in Analytics & Technologies for Education) presented Amrita Learning, India’s first Intelligent Tutoring System, at Mobile Learning Week, MLW 2019, at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from March 4-8, 2019.

Amritapuri Team Won First Prize at 34th Inter-University National & South Zone Youth Festivals

The student team of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, bagged the first prize in Group Music (Indian) at the 34th Inter-University South Zone Youth Festival 2018 “Padmotsav” held from October 7-11, 2018, in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. South Zone comprises of over 100 universities in the region.

National Institute of Ayurveda Appoints Amrita Faculty as Advisory Committee Member

Dr. P. Rammanohar, Research Director of Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda at School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has been appointed as Member of Scientific Advisory Committee of National Institute of Ayurveda, an autonomous organisation under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. 

Amrita Ayurveda Research Director Appointed as WHO Expert Group Member

Dr. P. Rammanohar, Research Director of Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda at School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has been appointed in the Three Member Committee of the World Health Organization for drafting International Terminology of Ayurveda for inclusion in the International Classification of Diseases - ICD-11.
