BSc Nursing Supplementary Exam Notification January 2021: Amrita College of Nursing

Out of the 25 shortlisted finalists, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Kochi, was declared the winner in the Non-clinical category for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Process Management in the project titled "DMAIC Approach to Patient Movement Services - A Quality Improvement Initiative at a Quaternary Care University Teaching Hospital" at the World Quality Month 2020 Celebration hosted by Qimpro Foundation and CAHO (Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations) held during November 28-29, 2020. 

A national webinar on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)-A Growing Concern was conducted on November 18, 2020, from 10.30 am to 1.15 pm by Amrita College of Nursing. The webinar was conducted on the ZOOM platform. The subthemes of the webinar were Antimicrobial Resistance- A Global Concern, AMR- The Indian Scenario, Role of Nurses towards WHO goals and AMR- Threats and Challenges. 

The Department of Radiology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, won the Award of Excellence (eHealth Radiology & Imaging Excellence Awards 2020) in the category Pioneering Radiology Department (Project Image Diagnosis Services and Interventional Procedures) in the Elets Radiology & Imaging Summit held November 6-7, 2020. 

In a subject-wise analysis carried out by Stanford University in the USA, Amrita professors, Dr. Maneesha Vinodini Ramesh, Dr. Shantikumar Nair, Dr. R. Jayakumar, Dr. Madhav Dutta and Dr. N. Radhika have been cited among the top two percent of scientists in the list available on Scopus.
