In this direction, Amrita Digital Library - VIDYA has been developed with the best collection of learning resources from the World Wide Web. This Digital Information Repository is a multimedia - rich 1.5 Tera Bytes of organized information comprising 120,000 e-book titles, audio and articles, video lectures (Over 5000 hours), journals, news shows and documentaries running into thousands of hours of programmes from around the world. All these are available exclusively to Amrita students on the campus network through Streaming and on demand mode, opening new gateways to the greatest masters across the globe. Today, students incoprorate this archived material into their learning schedules and this is contributing immensely to indepth understanding of subjects taught and knowledge expansion.

Hostel and Transport Facilities

Separate hostel is provided for both boys and girls. The hostel aims at providing a secured, calm & homely atmosphere for students staying away from home. Infact it is a home away from home. With the support and loving care of two resident wardens both in boys & girls hostel, students live in harmony and develop respect and concern for the fellow beings. The chief warden, Prof. Venkatadas, also the student welfare officer with his caring & affectionate approach personally attends to the welfare of the students.
