'Crop Production Technology –II (Rabi Crops)' is a course offered in B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture at School of Agricultural Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
Origin, geographical distribution, economic importance, soil and climatic requirements, varieties, cultural practices and yield of Rabi crops, cereals –wheat and barley, pulses-chickpea, lentil, peas, oilseeds-rapeseed, mustard and sunflower; sugar crops-sugarcane; medicinal and aromatic crops-mentha, lemon grass and citronella. Forage crops- erseem, lucerne and oat.
