The next day started with the inauguration ceremony. After that the practice session started to let the participant get familiarized with the rules and procedures of the competition. After the competition the hungry participants made their way to the lunch hall as they needed all the energy for the big day the next day. There was also a trip to Lalbagh, the botanical garden, where they get to take some time off coding and get some fresh air.
Finally, the day that everybody was eagerly waiting for had finally arrived. There was an air of tension as well as excitement in the whole campus. All the participants took their respective seats and were all set for the competition to begin. Once the competition started, all the teams were so immersed in solving the problems that there could be nothing that could distract them. As and when the teams solved a problem, they got a colored balloon to show to the rest of the teams that they have solved the problem with literally flying colors. It was team “illusion” from IIIT Hyderabad that came out of the competition area with not just flying but soaring colors.
