AHEAD 2017, the Amrita Head and Neck Oncology Teaching Program is a 3-day course designed to cover the entire range of important topics in head and neck oncology through didactic short lectures and interactive discussions. The faculty is selected from experienced teachers, university examiners and noted head and neck surgeons from across the country. The discussions are designed to focus on issues pertinent to post graduate examinations. There will be sessions for surgical videos where common surgical procedures will be demonstrated and discussed. OSCE at the end of the course.(Limited seats for OSCE).

Surgical anatomy, pathology, management and recent trends in oral cavity & oropharynx, paranasal sinuses, metastatic lymph nodes, parotid and other salivary glands, larynx and laryngopharynx, thyroid, parapharyngeal tumors.
Also include imaging of head and neck, prosthetic rehabilitation, approach to skull-base tumors, current status of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
