The IETE and CSI student branches of the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore Campus organized a three day national level workshop on Biomedical Signal Acquisition and Conditioning- BiSAC from December 17-19, 2015.

There were 44 faculty members and researchers from premier universities. The main goal of the workshop was to provide the participants an insight to the various types of biomedical signals acquired, the causes and some of the possible solutions for the same. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. M. Jayakumar, Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus. Reputed speakers included:

  • Dr. Jayaraj Joseph, Health Care Technology Innovation Center, Chennai
  • Dr. Kishore Kumar Kottary, Philips Health Care, Bengaluru

  • Dr. N. Madhu Mohan, Biomedical Engineering programme coordinator, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore
