IEEE Symposium on Education, Technology and Entrepreneurship
A one- day IEEE Symposium on Education, Technology and Entrepreneurship 2012, ISEE 2012, was hosted on July 18, 2012 at Amritapuri Campus.
ISEE 2012, organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Amritapuri Campus, covered expert talks, including keynote address by Dr. Rob Reilly, President, IEEE Education Society and Visiting Scientist, Centre for Educational Computing Initiatives, MIT; Mr.Satish Babu, Chair IEEE Kerala Section; entrepreneurial seminars by young talents, Deepak Ravindran, CEO & Co-Founder of Innoz- the world’s largest mobile search engine company and Nelvin Joseph, CEO OF Artin Dynamics- an Artificial Intelligence and Green Technology; and technical tutorials/workshops on Hardware Description Language(HDL) and Data Converters.
A presentation on Startup Village, India's first Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) business incubator was another highlight of the program.
Over 320 participants from all over 30 colleges participated to get the unique opportunity to learn from and interact with eminent experts, entrepreneurial talents and mentors through tutorials and workshops.
The inaugural ceremony was blessed with the presence of Swami Jnanamritanandapuri and Br.Abhayamrita Chaitanya, Pro-Chancellor, Amrita University.
