International Conference on Power and Energy Systems: Towards Sustainable Energy (PESTSE 2014)
The 1st International Conference on 2014 Power and Energy Systems: Towards Sustainable Energy (PESTSE 2014) was organized during March 13-15,2014, by Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru in association with IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) – Bangalore Chapter.
The conference aimed at providing a platform for researchers, scientists, industrial professionals and students to exchange and share their research accomplishments, achievements and new ideas on the contemporary and emerging trends in Power and Energy Systems, which would enable them to arrive at new ideas and techniques not only to enhance Power and Energy, but also work towards sustaining it.
The conference received 160 papers from within India and abroad, out of which around 79 were presented after being peer reviewed by the technical committee comprising of experts across the globe.

The three day event ran smoothly, starting off with the tutorial sessions conducted by experts in their fields, in order to facilitate brainstorming discussions which were to follow. The speakers were: Dr. D. P. Kothari, Director-Research, MVSR Engineering College, Hyderabad.
