The ECI Forum of Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore organised a LTSpice workshop on the 24th of October 2016. The workshop was organized by Ponni M., Assistant Professor, Dept. of ECE and witnessed a turnout of over fifty students.

The workshop was aimed at equipping students of ECE and EIE with knowledge of simulation software and tools to help them start off their mini projects. The workshop started off with an introduction to LTSpice and its history. Various available options such as AC analysis, DC sweep etc. were also covered in the hour-long workshop. Simulations were practiced with assistance from the teacher as well as volunteers from the ECI forum.

The session ended at 4:20 pm with many students engaging in proactive discussions. A significant number of students stayed back for networking and discussions long after the session had ended making their interest on the subject quite evident. The ECI Forum hopes to conduct more such enriching workshops in the future.
