National Workshop on Micro & Smart Systems Technologies
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru Campus is organizing a national workshop on Workshop on Micro & Smart Systems Technologies from September 10-11, 2015 in technical collaboration with IEEE Sensors Council, Bangalore Section.
Micro and Smart Systems (MSS) are the examples of integration of mechanical elements with micro sensors, actuators and electronics. In recent days MSS based devices have been developed and are being developed for the applications in various sectors. Coupled with the smart materials and/or micro-optical systems, MSS find applications from aerospace to automobile engineering, from structural health monitoring, environmental monitoring to biomedical health sciences. The MSS market is still one of the fastest growing zones in industries. The two day workshop cum Certificate Course on Micro & Smart Systems Technology will cover a wide range of topics right from the fundamentals to applications. The workshop consists of a series of lectures by eminent people working in the area of Micro & Smart Systems and Hands-on sessions on Applications of lntellisuite for Micro& Smart Systems.
