An Open Day for all M.Tech. VLSI Design aspirants of Department of Electrical and Communication Engineering, Bengaluru was conducted on June 20, 2020.
In this pandemic situation, it is very tough for applicants to visit the campus to know about the benefits of joining the M.Tech. programme. To overcome this situation, an “Open Day” was conducted. Dr. N. S. Murty delivered the introductory talk and briefed about M.Tech. (VLSI Design) programme and its structure. Dr. T. K. Ramesh arranged for a virtual campus tour and explained about the features of the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru.
Mr. Jithesh from the Department of Corporate & Industry Relations, briefed on the process involved in placements, details of recruiters and shared the placement statistics. Ms. R. Sunitha (ACIP Coordinator) spoke about Amrita Center for International Programs.
The aspirants had a chance to listen and talk with four of the Alumni, who are currently working in core VLSI companies. The session was interactive and observed a participation of 25 aspirants.
