The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus, conducted Open Day for all M. Tech. VLSI Design aspirants of Department of ECE, Bengaluru on June 20, 2020, at 11 AM. In this pandemic situation, it’s very tough for applicants to visit the campus of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru. To know about all features on what they can get once they join M. Tech. program. Dr. N. S. Murty delivered an introductory talk and briefed about M. Tech. (VLSI Design) program and its structure. Dr. T. K. Ramesh arranged a small campus tour through the video and explained all the distinguished features of the Department of ECE and Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru e.g. M. Tech. (VLSI Design) program and its structure, Amrita Center for International Program, placements of M. Tech. (VLSI Design) etc. Mr. Jithesh from the department of CIR briefed out the process involved in placements and also details of recruiters. Ms. R. Sunitha (ACIP coordinator) discussed Amrita Center for International Program. Aspirants had a chance to listen and talk with four of the alumni who are currently working in core VLSI companies. The session was interactive and observed the participation of 25 aspirants.
